Values
Igalia as a company has its own values and culture. Our DNA is composed by three main components:
- Flat organizational structure
Igalia has a democratic structure where everyone can participate. The company has a set of well-defined roles and groups, but the ultimate decision organ is the assembly, our "board of directors", where everyone from the second year onwards has voice and vote.
- Free software
We do believe in Free Software, not only in its freedoms, but also as a better way to share knowledge and foster creativity and innovation. Thus, projects in which software is openly and freely licensed will be given top priority.
- Innovation and research
Igalia was born from the idea of focusing on technological innovation, always giving research, based on cooperation and free software, an important place in the company strategy.
