CES Las Vegas, the largest tradeshow in the world for consumer technologies, will take place from the 6th to the 9th of January 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

GENIVI will be hosting a networking reception at the Bellagio on Thursday, January 5th at 6 PM.  There we will be showcasing our latest work in performance and feature implementation in open source web browsers. In particular, we will have demos showing our exciting new work with the Renesas R-Car Gen3 board. We are very excited to help bring the latest upstream GPU-accelerated Chromium to this platform, running on Wayland, and with the same excellent HTML5 support as Chromium for Desktop.

Igalia has been a member of GENIVI since 2013. During this time we have been active participants in the networking expert group where we contribute our expertise in browser technologies. 

If you are attending CES Las Vegas, don't hesitate to look for Silvia Cho or stop by at our booth at the GENIVI networking reception to have a look at our demos.
