Germán Poo Caamaño

Software Gardener.

I am a computer scientist, software developer, and contributor to Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects.

I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Victoria, Canada. I researched coordination and communication in software ecosystems and intellectual property in software engineering. I focused on FOSS projects, as there is plenty of public information available and it helps to allow reproducible research.

I enjoy photography, literature, Go (the ancient board game), badminton, and coffee.

A good day is one where I get things done, contribute to a FOSS project, play Go, read a book, and spend time with my family.
