"A hybrid event happening June 13-14, 2022"

There’s still time to sign up for the Web Engines Hackfest, June 13-14, 2022, to be held in A Coruña, Spain and online all over the world. We welcome all people working on the different engines (Chromium/Blink/V8, Safari/WebKit/JSC, Firefox/Gecko/SpiderMonkey, Servo), on the testing side (WPT, Test262), or on specifications (W3C, WhatWG, TC39).

Igalia’s Web Engines Hackfest has been an annual tradition since 2009, only missing 2020 due to the onset of COVID-19. Last year’s event was fully online, and this year we’ve moved to a hybrid model with representatives from Brave, Google, the IPFS Project, KaiOS, Mozilla, Protocol Labs, Salesforce, and others planning to attend in person. For those who join us them, the conference venue will be Palexco, situated right on the harbor of A Coruña. If you are a member of the Web Platform community at any level, we hope you will join us to discuss, make plans, and do development. If you want to attend in person, please fill out our registration form so we can plan with the venue.

If you can’t make it to A Coruña, you’ll still be able to participate in some of the sessions online. The agenda will be announced in a followup post once it’s finalized, so follow us via RSS or Twitter to get word when that happens.
