Igalia at FOSDEM 2021
This coming weekend Igalia will attend FOSDEM 2021, the biggest free and open source software conference in Europe. Normally, this event would be happening in Brussels, but this year it will be virtual. No registration is necessary and we encourage you to check it out.
Igalians will be at the event representing our graphics and compilers teams and presenting two talks that we’re excited about and hope you’re able to attend:
-
As you might know, Igalia has partnered with the Raspberry Pi Foundation to develop a new, open source Mesa driver for the Raspberry Pi 4. Alejandro Piñeiro will be presenting “An Overview of the Open Source Vulkan Driver for Raspberry Pi 4”, on Feb 6 (Saturday) at 15:00 CET.
-
Igalia has also been heavily involved in Web Assembly work. Andy Wingo will give a talk titled “Compiling to WebAssembly: Notes from the trenches” on Feb 7 (Sunday) at at 12:25 CET
The schedule page for each talk will contain a link to the appropriate Matrix room with the live video feed and the Q&A session for the talk. If you are interested in these topics, please come chat with us in the Matrix room. We always look forward to hearing from you, and welcome inquiries to chat more.
