Some months ago, to some excitement, Igalia announced that we had begun work on open source Vulkan graphics drivers for Raspberry Pi 4. We’ve made great progress that we’re happy to share.

Recently, our own Iago Toral wrote an excellent and well illustrated guest post for raspberrypi.org detailing both the incredible progress so far (we are passing over 70k tests from the Kronos Group), as well as what’s next. We’re excited about this partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and continuing to help to advance the state of open source graphics.
