"Once again, Igalia will be present at FOSDEM, the biggest FLOSS developer event in Europe. 2-3..."

For the 7th year in a row, Igalia will be present at FOSDEM, The Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting. Since 2001, this two-day event has been organised by volunteers in Brussels, Belgium. This year it is taking place this weekend (2-3 February). We will be speaking at the following sessions of the Cross-desktop track:

  • Felipe Erias, Igalia's user experience expert, will explain how to go beyond traditional “paper and pencil” design methods in his talk Sketching Interactions. Saturday 12:40 in room H.1308.
  • Alejandro Piñeiro, from Igalia's Accesibility Team, will talk about How GNOME Obsoleted its “Enable Accessibility” Setting, making GNOME 3 the leading Free desktop environment in the accessibility field, useable by everybody from minute zero. Sunday 10:15, room H.1308.
  • Adrián Pérez, who has been working in WebKit inside Igalia's Browsers Team, will do a report on the current State of the Kit: what has been happening during the last year in WebKit and how WebKitGTK+ is getting better than ever. Saturday 16:40, room H.1308.

If you will be in Brussels this weekend and want to meet us, do not hesitate to get in touch, or better: attend FOSDEM 2013 and find us there in the sessions, hallways, and events!
