Michael Catanzaro and Yoon Hwang are visiting Gothenburg this week to attend GUADEC and update the GNOME community on our latest work in web technologies.

Michael's talk is about browser security features related to HTTPS in which he examines the implementation status in various major browsers with a focus on GNOME Web (Epiphany).

Yoon has recently worked on WebKitGTK+'s graphics pipeline, including multi-threaded compositing and GPU accelerated video decoding without additional copy operations. He is excited to share our plans to improve rendering performance of WebKitGTK+.
