"With the aim to drive the direction of core Web technologies, Igalia joins the W3C to participate..."

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international organization devoted to bringing stakeholders together and developing high-quality standards based on contributions from its members, staff and the Web community at large.

Igalia is one of the most important WebKit and Blink consultancies, in addition to a strong experience in accessibility technologies which have the potential to bring the Web to an even broader audience. We will contribute with our expertise in those fields as W3C members.

The W3C is “pleased to see how organizations committed with standards like Igalia join as members to improve the future of the Web”.

This move complements the partnership established by Igalia and Adobe to improve the CSS Regions and CSS Shapes W3C standards announced earlier this years.
