Last Monday, 12th of March, the i.20 report was presented in the Domus museum in Coruña. Igalia is featured in the report for being one of the most innovative businesses in the Galicia region, along with other companies from different sectors ranging from biotechnology to food science and including information technologies.

The i.20 report has been produced by Fundación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia, which is a non-profit foundation for the promotion of industrial quality and technological development in Galicia, created by the industry and innovation department of the Galician regional government (Xunta de Galicia).

Igalia has been hand picked to join the 20 success stories featured in the book, which showcases examples of companies with a high commitment to R&D and innovative thinking. It briefly describes the story of our company, emphasizing our flat structure and cooperative environment, our international scope and Igalia's strong investment in R&D.

We would like to thank Fundación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia and Xunta de Galicia for considering us worthy of this recognition and including Igalia as an example of innovation. We will keep working hard to deliver top-class IT solutions based in open source software, while improving and maintaining the sustainable people-based business model in which we believe.
