- Stability. When Igalia hires someone is based on a stable growing policy. Each person hired is hoped to pass each phase, from employee to prepartner and finally to partner, becoming a new "I work here because it makes me happy" member of Igalia's assemblearian cooperative.

Work-life balance. One of the most important aspects for us is to work just as a part of life, instead of working to live, so we enjoy:
- Working in our physical offices instead of the customer's place.
- Having a flexible timetable, 40 hours a week just when you want, because some people like to come to the office earlier, or working more in Mondays and less on Fridays.
- Telework, up to 15 of each 40 hours a week from home.
- Training. We offer 3 hours/week free English training in our offices as a possibilitty for all the employees. Moreover, the members of the assembly have an individual annual amount of money to spend in the specific training they like most and another for stays in English speaking countries. Internal training sessions among our staff are also a common practice.
- Private health insurance. Every igalian enjoy the services offered by a private health insurance company.
- Nursery service subsidy. For every igalian with kids, we subsidize the nursery service the first 3 years.
- OLPI (One Laptop Per Igalian). Every prepartner has a laptop financed by the company, so each hacker enjoys its own customised working main tool.
- Labor risks prevention. Although our job is not specially dangerous or risky, compliance with current legislation on labor risks prevention is a must, e.g., to avoid some typical physical problems of working with computers.
- Physiotherapy. In addition to the legal measures, we offer sessions of physiotherapy as preventive added measures to avoid the physical problems refered before.
