Antonio Álvarez

Ourense, 1982.

Working at Igalia since November 2007, Antonio loves programming languages and technology. He also likes sport and summer.

Xavier Castaño

Catoira, 1978.

Founding member of Igalia. He graduated together with other Igalians in 2001, and since then he has been working at the company. He likes playing futsal and does so in several local leagues with his cousins (who are a lot). He played the saxophone some years ago, but now he has forgotten it a bit.

José Dapena

Marín, 1978.

José, who holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of A Coruña, is one of the founding members of Igalia. Now he is involved in the development of projects using Gtk/Gnome technologies and, in particular, Tinymail. He is also one of the initiators of Gnome Build Brigade. He loves reading, traveling, the cinema, computers, and, of course, his wife.

Javier Morán

Pontevedra, 1978.

Working at Igalia since June 2002 and partner of the company. Javi likes analysis and design in software and is specially interested in organization and methodologies. Apart from computers, he is fascinated by the human mind and, therefore, is studying psychology in his spare time. Besides, he would like to become a successful investor in the stock market.

Enrique Ocaña

Vigo, 1977.

Working at Igalia since June 2002 and partner of the company. He wrote his first program at 11, and the passion for creating amazing things by mixing existing ones grew when he came to know free software. He has always liked teaching other people what he knows. Besides computing, he also enjoys windsurfing, sailing, RC models, traveling, and learning English.

Diego Pino

Vigo, 1978.

After a couple of years wandering around the world, Diego finally joined Igalia last February. Like many other Igalia members, Diego is keen on computers, particularly everything related to Web technologies. When he is not wasting his time surfing the Net, Diego likes swimming, traveling, trying new meals, and watching Asian movies.

Manuel Rego

Baiona (Pontevedra), 1983.

When he finished his studies in computer science, he started to work at Igalia (April 2007). He likes soccer (playing and watching), going to the beach, sailing, and listening to music. Moreover, he likes computers and all matters related to technology.

Lorenzo Tilve

Pontevedra, 1978.

His first steps in computer engineering were done with an old MSX 64 around 1988, developing rudimentary calculation and graphic programs with BASIC. He joined Igalia in May 2004 and became a partner in March 2007. His most remarkable hobby was acting, performing several theater plays and comedy shows for some years. Perhaps today it is his mates who have to "suffer" this clownish personality and particular sense of humor.
