Igalia collaborates in the organization of the Caixanova Master on Libre Software.
Caixanova in collaboration with the public University Rey Juan Carlos and Igalia organizes the first edition of the Master on Free Software. This master is oriented to just finished graduates or professionals that want to improve their knowledge to manage, analyze and collaborate in international Free Software projects.
Master lessons will be given at the Social Building of Caixanova in A Coruña on Friday afternoons, Saturday morning and some Thursday afternoons during next academic course from October to next year September. The Practicum and the master Thesis will be oriented to acquire experience on projects and work in Free Software working for international enterprises involved in Free Software.
The program will be reviewed by a committee of assessors with widely recognized importance in the Free Software community.
After the interest of working professionals the Master has been changed to a weekend format.

Study Grants
Some collaborating companies will award students with a 3000€ grant. These granted students will devote their practicum in a project of the interest of the company directed by their experts during 2 month full time.
- Telefonica I+D: 2 grants working on Morfeo.
- Igalia: 2 grants working on GNOME projects.
