Igalia is excited to sponsor the Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) Europe 2017 again this year! 

ELC is the premier technical conference for companies and developers using Linux in embedded products. Now in its 12th year, the conference gathers user-space developers, product vendors, kernel and systems developers to collaborate.

Juan José Sánchez will attend the event representing Igalia at the booth where you will be able to see demos of our latest work in all open source browsers: WebKit/WPE, Blink/Chromium and Servo. 

He will also give an introduction to WPE WebKit, a new WebKit Port optimized for Embedded platforms, that has been released recently. WPE is an open source project, very popular in embedded devices of many different kinds, where the manufacturers are looking for a simple and fast way of running their HTML5 user interfaces. WPE is designed for simplicity and performance: a hardware accelerated fullscreen browser with multimedia support, with small  and light memory usage and disk space, with support for most relevant HTML APIs.
