GStreamer
GStreamer is an open source framework, developed by an enthusiastic community, and Igalia is an active part of that community, contributing with several components, such as,
- Patch for adding DKS subtitle support to GStreamer
- Patch for adding support for frame-based subtitles to GStreamer (playbin2)
- Migrated GStreamer AMR encoder and decoder plugins to use Android OpenCore libraries
- jpegparse plugin element for GStreamer
Also Igalia collaborated in the low level integration of GStreamer with other technologies
- Development of the GStreamer backend for WebKit (GNOME/Freedesktop, Windows and Mac ports)
- GStreamer elements using DSP algorithms
