E-mail is a core tool in the network cloud. Millions of electronic communications happen every hour and a big part of them are delivered though mobile platforms.
The experience of Igalia in this matter is clear as we collaborated in the creation of Modest, the email client included in Maemo 4 and 5 (Nokia N800/N810 and Nokia N900).
Modest uses the Tinymail framework for sending/retrieving emails. Igalia involvement in the development of tinymail has been constantly increasing up to the level of becoming the main contributors these last years and also co-maintainers of the project.
