We are focused on creating the best platform for the Web technologies, and our goal is to help our customers to understand, use and improve those technologies for their needs.
Igalia is an active member of the WebKit project, having contributed a wide array of improvements in many areas: multimedia support with GStreamer (including GStreamer support in the Mac and Windows port), accessibility support in the GTK+ port, plugins (NPAPI), GObject DOM bindings, networking, rendering, and a large etc.
We play an active role in the WebKitGTK+ community, providing resources (web servers, compilation bots, etc.) and organizing events like the WebKitGTK+ hackfest. We have talked about WebKit in conferences such as GUADEC or GNOME Summit, and we have also represented WebKitGTK+ during the first WebKit meeting in 2010 (Cupertino, SF).
Our team in Igalia is one of the biggest consultants in WebKit that you can find. We have multiple active reviewers and committers in the project that work everyday in the source code.
