It is our pleasure to announce that will we be hosting the annual Web Engines Hackfest at our office in A Coruña, Spain. We have organized and hosted this event since 2009 and are once again thrilled to facilitate this gathering of developers from throughout the Web Platform community, including those who work on Blink, WebKit, Gecko, and Servo. 

As always, the hackfest will have an unconference format where attendees propose topics that they are interested in. Topics from previous years have included improving non-Mac WebKit ports, performance, graphics architecture, new CSS features (Grid Layout, Multi-column, Regions, etc.), multimedia, WebRTC, MathML, new ES6 features (in V8, JSC and SpiderMonkey), accessibility, and Wayland support.

Around 30 participants from nine organizations have confirmed their attendance and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in A Coruña. We would also like to thank our co-sponsor, Collabora, for helping us make this event possible.
