Carlos, Antia, Joanmarie y Alejandro had arrived at Strasbourg 3 days earlier for the Evince hackfest. During the hackfest, a lot of work has been done in the areas of HiDPI, View, UI, Annotations, Comic backend, Accessibility and Gestures. You can find more details in Carlos' blog.

And then, GUADEC! The event was really interesting and there were a lot of networking opportunities where hackers could candidly discuss their ideas. There have been around 40 official presentations apart from informal lightening talks. Edu and Zan from Igalia also gave tech talks. Edu introduced our latest developements in GNOME's Web and its engine WebKitGTK+, while Zan talked about the work we have done and the challenges we have faced in order to support Wayland on WebKit2GTK+.
